I said it would be good, I didn't say it was going to be cheap!

I suppose that at that point, you might as well buy yourself a window-mount A/C unit and use that to chill the de-humified air going to your computer/beer fridge.

The idea still stands though, that if you can get a radiator cheap enough, and then using R-134a, chill the (non-conductive) mineral oil that you're feeding into the blocks. And the nice thing about that is even if you got a compressor about the same size as what you would find in an actual beer fridge, it would still be overkill.

You could get radiators/oil coolers of that scale for about $50 from the local autozone.

why pump mineral oil through a cooling loop? water withdraws heat much better. it would also vent the heat better into the freon chilling unit you refer to

why not just get a Chevy Radiator that will handle a 350 small block a nice AC unit and then you can keep both your computer and your room cold
