| Innovatek makes good stuff! The blocks are high quality, and I think their fiitings are top notch. I don't personally care for that reservoir (very small volume, and I think the connection to the pump would be prone to leakage). Are you planning to have a fully internal system? Or will parts be outside the case? That radiator has some dimensions... I recommend making a cardboard mock-up and test fitting it within your case. Give us more info on how you are planning to use the gear, and what you hope to accomplish...... we will then be in a better position to help. | ||

| Apex Techie I | since it's gonna be on a rather big cpu (xp2400+) i prolly woan't OC it just yet but in the future i might, the main concern right now is noice control. next thing on my to buy list is a rheobus but it will have to wait until the middle of next month as i can't afford it right now. i was thinking of having the tank and maybe the radiator on the outside but i don't have my case yet as i haven't orderd it. just to make sure we are talking about the same tank i posted a link for some pic's of it. and when i looked more on the webshop i'm buying it from i found out that it was made by some other company to fit with innovatek. http://www.microplex.no/rubweb/prodp...tankomatic.gif http://www.microplex.no/rubweb/prodp...atic_addtr.gif Last edited by ThUnD3rM0rPh; 11-September-02 at 06:35 AM.. | |

| That tank is fine. Actually, it looks really cool! I was picturing the other Innovatek res that fits over the pump housing. I would strongly recommend not buying any water gear until you have your case in your hot little hands. You need to test measure components (I made cardboard mock ups with the right dimensions). Also, you need to figure out what will be internal / external etc before you decide on parts. Last edited by putwig; 11-September-02 at 05:27 PM.. | ||

| I am playing catchup. The Innovatech gear is solid stuff. I am not familiar with the web outlet you are talking about. But HighSpeedPC is an outfit that I can vouche for, they are a good company. They should be taking orders by tommorrow, but it is still iffy, (Scott at HighSpeedPC is a little busy as his wife is having a baby right about now ).The Tank-o-matic that you have in mind looks superior, I want one and he just got them in. I will buy one as soon as I can sneek it by my wife Also on their site they have Plastic 10mm hose barbs in packages of 4. Buy them, do not by the 8mm Innovatech tubing. Or if you can get all the gear with 10mm hose barbs do that, here is why. The 8mm tubing for the Innovatech kits is thin walled and usually degrades within a couple of months, then it kinks and colapses restricting flow. The compression fittings on the Innovatech gear are not threaded for US standard pipe fittings and the collars on the compression fittings will not fit US tubing diameters easily. The 10mm hose barbs, on the other hand, fit US 3/8" ID - 5/8" OD tubing perfectly and the thicker walled tubing is tough and lasts. The Ehiem 1048 is a little over-powered for a Single water block system, but if you plan to expand, or intend to mount the pump two feet or more below the level of the rest of the system, or use long hoses, stay with the 1048. The Chipset/GPU block is pretty nice, but be aware that because of the angle that the hose connections come off of the block, it may be tricky to get it to mount properly on some motherboard chipsets, but it fits beautifully on a Video Card. Set up your component order Pump -> Chipset -> CPU -> Radiator -> Reservoir. Make sure the Radiator Fans exhaust the warm air out of the system, and only a single 120mm fan is needed. Get some little hose clamps for the Radiator fittings or use Zip-Ties. I can help you more latter if you need it, good luck. ![]() | ||

| Thunder, Sorry, I missed that you were from Norway, very glad to see you here at PR. All you have to do is take wht applies from my coments and drop the rest Abys - for you here in the states, if your after Innovatech gear then there is only one source and thats HighSpeedPC They have more gear on order, some is still in stock, and the guy that does most of the work at their small on-line shop has a wife who is about to have a baby, so he is very preoccupied. Also, Scott is trying to become a US Distributer for another cool setup from Aqua-Computer and their gear looks absolutely kick-a$$ too. You may want to just cool your heals a little and wait for the stuff to get in, or wait and see if HighSpeedPC can get this other gear also. | ||

| Apex Techie I | i just wanted to say that if your gonna buy the tank-o-matic be prepered to feel some pain in your arms/hands for the rest of the day... the two pipes inside the tank... they arn't on the inside when you get the package... and they are a bitch to into the little holes their supposed to go into. (i used two hours to get it together, but it could be that i'm not the most practical dude around ) | |
