| Apex Techie Lite | Hello again, I have the Asus A8N-SLI Mobo, I am trying to put the koolacne chipset cooler on the Nvida 4 chipset, Its going to angled aliitle, I think thats ok. It doesn't aline correctly. My question is their is what looks like a square thermal pad with a square cut in the middle for the cipset on it. Where can I find a new one of these? can I use the old one? Should I use something else? This mobo has a chipset fan the comes stock with it, and thier was no thermal compound on the chipset. The fan was just placed on the square thermal pad with a square cut in the middle revealing the square medal chipset! Thanks for you time, Desaunct Koolance PC3-720Blk Asus A8N-SLI AMD 34 3500 OCZ EL Platinum Revision 2 2x512 PC3200 ATI X800 XT PCIE 2x WD Raptor 74 10,000rpm Enermax 600W SLI Last edited by 17th Desaunct; 11-February-05 at 01:25 PM.. | |
