| I ran into a few problems with my swiftech kit. Swiftech has a conversion kit to upgrade the block to fit a athlon64. I upgraded my mb and to the 64 and now when I go to order the kit from frozen and cooltech their out of stock! I checked with swiftnets but it's almost double the price, i guess because it's discontinued. I mass mailed every wc store online and nothing. Now for like $10 more I can just buy a new block but I don't want to mismatch the system. I read a few reviews on swiftechs new blocks (mcw6000) and noone seems to be crazy about them. What do you guys think about the mcw6000 blocks. Or should I just pay the $40 (/w ship) for the conversion kit? Or.. what other blocks would work well with the swiftech rad? I'm planning on adding a 2nd rad (black ice or dtek). ![]() That's the kit. I got rid of the fill kit, and built a custom enclosure for the relay and socket. The conversion kit for the cpu block ![]() the redesigned version of my block ![]() | ||

| Ahhh, you were sucked into the swiftech circle like myself so long ago. . . My advice, screw swiftech and get the Danger Den TDX block.: http://www.dangerdenstore.com/produc...&cat=21&page=1 I know its $52, but its worth it and should work just fine with your pump / rad. | ||

ooo.. that block is nice. how about those 3 inlet ones they sell, the rbx? I guess I can put the swiftech block on ebay. If I get atleast $20 for it plus the $30-40 I wouldve'd paid to convert it I might as well pay $60 for a nice replacement block.

| Buy the MCP6000-64, it is a fine waterblock that performs great from low flow on up. The TDX is another great block BUT to see the benefit you'll need a better pump and probably a better Rad too (single 80mm just dont cut it anymore, get a 120mm based rad). All in all though look at the reviews round the net' the 6000 series is doing just fine, it caught crap here for the Playskool hose barbs (which is bull because they can be mounted with hose clamps just fine). | ||

| i currently run the RBX block myself, and have no complaints. my previous WC kit was a kit. my tempts with it was about 29 to 31 idle and about 38 under full load with a temp probe on the block with my RBX block, i run about 5 to 10 C cooler than the kit did. now i just need to get a better pump that uses less wattage... a 12 volt would be nice | ||

ark the swiftech pump is 330gph with a max height of 86"... the eheim 1250 is 317 gph and the L35 is 320 gph. you think the swift pump won't handle those blocks? The rad i'm aware of, i'm adding a 2nd 120mm rad and using the small swift rad to cool down water coming from the cpu to the gpu. Now on that note.. let me squeeze in a question- Can I use 3/8 tubing together with 1/2 tubing.. is that a no no? For example- 1/2" tubing between pump outlet->dtek rad->cpu block->small rad->gpu block-> then 3/8" tubing to the hard drive blocks and res back to pump?
