Cool My Cascade *** 56k Beware!!! 10~ pics***

Hey everyone, I said I would post a thread with my cascade so here it is.

Iam not sure which level to describe the system at soillstaymoderateandyou guys can tell me if you want anythingexplained(whatis a cpevforexample) ill try and make a "what isphase-chamge"threadlater sothatwill probobly help answer alot ofquestions.

Parts

stage 1:

1/2hp rotary compressor
DIY reciever
Danfoss TY2 TXV with 00 orifice.
DIY HX (heat exchanger)
Refrigerant, waiting for r402a

stage 2:

1/2hp rotary compressor
Diy oil seperator (sep)
DIY HX
DIY reciever
Parker CPEV model A2
Block , waiting for chilly1 block
Refrigerant, waiting for r1150 (ethylene)

Here are some pics. I originaly hadd a parker a2 cpev on the first stage but changed it to the ty2 txv.

This is a oil-sep for the first stage. I removed it because it was unnecisary

That's hella cool (pun intended ) nice work!

Question...why are the pipes all coiled up like that? Is it just extra piping, or does it serve a purpose?

me = complete no0b when it comes to this phase change business

there is a block connected to the systemwhich is ona flexible line. That mounts onto the cpu here is a pic of some blocks.

that is soo tight! question tho how do u plan to run a computer off a system like that its friggin huge

You connect it remotely. The flexible suctionl ine is 3or 4 feet long.

the flexible suction has a corrogated stainless steel inside (SS) and abraided ss outsie. There is nothing to be avraid of

It will be using a chilly1 block (system) so it shas mounts forall cpus, + nvidia and ati cards . hmm my 9600xt @ -100c (-150f~)should overclock nicely

Very nice work! Ive read your other posts and am starting to understand the whole setup and how it works. I would think about doing one in the future. Maybe a single id be happy with anywhere in the negatives lol. Where did you get all of your parts from ive seen people build them out of refridges and a/c units.
