| Help!!! its been three months since i placed my water in my water system, and now i have to change it. theres only two problems, its my first time, and i need idea's. well i want to leak the system through the pump which is at the bottom of the case. the pump pushes water to the radiator which is near the blowhole in the front. the water then moves to the water block (CPU) which is slightly higher, and then it leads to the Resivoir which is slightly higer than the CPU water block. then the water from the resevoir goes back to the water pump. To see a better picture (if you didnt get that) heres a link to my PC pic: http://gallery.pcapex.com/showphoto....cat=500&page=1 kinda unclear due to the wires, but the water tubing is blue. well my problem is this: i want to leak the system out from the pump at the bottom of the case, but the problem is, how am i going to take the water out of the radiator or the resevoir once the water that wants to come out is out already?? Not all the water comes out when the tube is detached from the pump right????????did you get that? im sorry if im not clear. well i need help asap, since i might change it one of the following weekends. id appreciate if anyone can give me any ideas. Thanks in advance (i apologize for my grammatical errors) | ||

| Lokie's Personal WU-Hoe | This is meant as constructive criticism... Start over again from scratch. Take everything out, drain it, flush it with some tap water, then flush out the water with an air compressor. Looks like you have a rather unorganized case right now and it could use a whole lot of tidying up. Spend a day on the wiring if you have to. Now you may not have any organizational skills at all, but if you try, then clean wiring is attainable. Planning is a major part of this, so just see how you can route wires behind and around everything rather than in front of it. Edit: Looked at all the comments in the gallery. Listen to them, if a bunch of people say your case is a mess...then it must be. Don't use the excuse "the acrylic case is hard to work with" because it isn't. It's just like any other case, with the exception of you can see everything. Lots of my wires are stashed out of place, but if I had an acrylic case then it'd be an Xconnect PSU along with some simple wire management. | |

| You can blow in the tube, but that'll most likely introduce bacteria which you don't really want. That's why I use this: http://www.hobbytron.com/balloon-pump.html Can't beat the price and it pushes air on the forward and back stroke because the air isn't sucked in at the nozzle. You may need to shift the rad and reservoir to get all the water out though. Another less effective way is attaching a 2-3 liter soda bottle on one end of the tubing and push air through. My case is twice as disorganized as his and I've never had a problem with maintenance. I thought water cooling meant you could slack on the case airflow. ![]() | ||

Can do. I've been making some headway on my mod as it is so I was thinking of getting a webcam in a few months to take some shots. I yanked the water after the block cracked but it still looks like a hunk of crap even without fat tubing and components cluttering it. Just remember there are some things you can't unsee.

| hey well thanks again to both of you ill look into cleaning up and start that thing all over again. its just theres only one problem, well two actually, one: i dont have my own job, so im kinda buying things from my allowance, since im 15 yrs old. and two: i hardly got anytime. I kno my case is like a tornado hit it or something but the problem is i got no time. i hardly had any time connecting the Water system. well the only way i see those comments going a way is to start from scratch. i may not like the idea, but for a new look i might go for it. anyone got any suggestions? well heres what i was going to do next, i wanted to chrome my cd drives, but i see now, before i do that im going to fix up the wiring. im planning on removing the sleeving (even tho it cost a lot) and i was getting into shortening the wires, but im scared i might cause a short circuit. one problem i have is hiding the wires. as you can see i dont got any where to place them behind or under. anybody got any suggestions? well im going to try again and hopefully i dont screw up my PC, haha. Thanks again Kage. i really appreciate it. | ||

you want to lengthen it and then sleeve as much of the wiring out of the way as possible.....run it around the edges in an organized manner. With the h2o you wont need to worry about all of the extra fans anyways. You can actually use some wire holders that stick to the inside of the case. For the wire lengths you can go to a Radio Shack and pick up some wiring and wire crimps and extend the wires that way unless you want to purchase extentions. Bottom line it takes alot of patience to do it but the end result will be worth it.
