Default Mounting the DangerDen heater core

I'm looking to order a new radiator or heater core from DangerDen for my w/c setup. I was wondering if you could give me any ideas on how yours are mounted if I would need to fabricate a bracket or what. Thank You for your help in advance.

its a chemning up front there were 2 80mm mounts with those weird things i took the bottom hard drive rack out. Its a danger den heatercore this one with the fan mount. http://www.dangerdenstore.com/produc...&cat=14&page=1

Basically i was just wondering if anybody who owned would knew if i could just drill and bolt it in or should i fabricate a bracket out of aluminum. Sorry should have been more specific

i did the same thing as you and thought about the same thing. I just ended up not making a mounting bracket since its a very snug fit already when standing in that spot. It wont move, not to mention the tubes keep it in place.

I really wouldn't worry about it, if you have to i guess you could bolt it.

i got a heatercore like that from dtekcustoms. came with some long bolts that you just screw between the fins of the heatercore. i just cut a blowhole in the top of my case, stuck the bolts through, and used nuts and washers to hold it in place.

dont weld it to the case, you will eventually have to take it out for cleaning or wire rerouting or soemthing along that line. A bracket is nice, just dont make it part of your case.

No im not gonna weld it in the case ima make a bracket something like a box with the holes cut out for the cooling but weld the sites up and polish it
