Default New found Tubing...NICE but $$$$$$$

Just thought you water pimps might like to know about this stuff, if you dont already.

I stubled upon a 10 foot roll of tubing today by a dumpster at work . It is black, 3/8 in., has AMAZING flexibility and a very extreme non-kinking factor.

The label on the spool says VITON, so I decided to do some research. It seems it is only available in black.

The information provides that it is impervious to just about every chemical known to man, temperatures and weather. According to the info it will not harden over time like most other tubing use in water cooling.

This is some EXTREMELY expensive tubing, the most expensive flexible tubular material ive ever seen actually.

The cheapest I can find it for is 3/8 in. $10/ft if bought in 100ft rolls, 1/2 in. $16/ft. in 100 foot roll. HERE

I found it in smaller quantities at Small Parts Inc. 3/8 is $16.55 /ft up to 9ft and 1/2in is $20.75 up to 9ft, cheaper by the foot if you buy more than 9ft.

So, if you extreme water cooling pimps dont mind black, spending $$$$ and want the most awesome tubing money can buy, this is probably it.

And yes, im keeping mine. My camera is now defunct or I would post some pics.

This stuff is so flexible it would be awesome to use some of the smaller stuff for cable sleeving. WAY more flexible than the X-Connect crap. That is if you want black. Would be hella expensive though.

Great find, tho black color + price may seem a bit tough for perspective buyers.

mcmaster carry something called tygon superflex which goes for about $10 per ft and is more flexible than regular tygon. I think that it is transparent, and I'm sorry but I don't have the number for it.

Is this what you were talking about (second to last on the page)? Like you said, goes for around $10 a foot in 3/8" or 1/2". The bend radius is half that of standard Tygon.
