I am always interested in hearing other opinions, so bring them on. Remember, I said opinion, not a personal attack on me or the website.

As to the other site you just advertised, I have never heard of it and if our review was just like it, then we are reviewing products properly as we are inline with everyone else and offering good fair reviews, just like the site that have been around longer than our site.

lets say you invite your friends, GOOD friends, over for a superbowl party, you got chips, drinks, and a really nice plasma screen tv, you have so many friends coming over that one of them, a new guy, gets in but ppl dont notice until he says something like this "..hey, you know, this TV is awesome, but you really should be watchingit over at the NEIGHBORS house...".

No one even I am not taking anything away from the reviews offered her, I have been reading them for longer than I can remember. However, without compitition, things get old and and stuck in a rut. By having others like us, we push each other to be better in a healthy manner. I can go back and forth with you all day about this if you want, the bottom line is do not be affraid of others doing what you do, learn what you can, show respect and strive to be better.

You would think, if a guy, had bought the "reserator" and had it installed on his system, he would have a pic or two, and be making refference to his temps, right here in this thread.

Guys, we post links to other sites reviews all the time. I really don't see a problem with it. I know some of you have a beef with MM1 from some other threads, but I do not believe he has done anything wrong here.

Now for some comments on the review. I am critical, but I make no apologies for it. Reviews are important. People make buying decisision and lay down cold hard cash based on what reviewers say. Your review has several downfalls, here are the most important:

1. I don't have any idea what hardware you tested the cooling on. Intel? AMD? If it is AMD (I think I saw a socket A ziff) is it a Thoroughbred, Palomino, Barton?

2. You have made no effort to document the settings used. Are those temps overclocked or stock speed? What is the vcore? What bus speeds?

3. How did you monitor and record temperatures? Are the results reproducible? You have made no mention of ambient temperature at all, let alone whether or not it remained constant throughout testing.

4. Are those temps idle or load. If load, what was the load software?

5. Most importantly, what are your comparisons and controls? You reference a HSF ....... what HSF? If the reserator dropped temps by 25 degrees Celsius off the stock generic AMD cooler that is impressive, but if the temps were 25 degrees cooler than a Zalman 7000 or a Thermalright 900 it is downright godlike. You mentioned that you had used other water cooling systems, why not use a water cooling system as the reference standard?

Just trying to help you write reviews that effectively convey factual info that has literal meaning to users.

your "review" forgot some pretty important sh!t....like how it performs under a load, how well it cools the...(geforce 4 mx)...and why mention the ramsinks if you didnt have the means to use them in the manner for which they were intended, and if that IS how they were intended to be used, why didnt you elaborate, or at least check the temperatures to see if they did anything...that kit was intended to be used on a system that could exploit its virtues, and i dont think your system can....the Zallman may very well be the most expensive part of your setup, or more expensive thatn the whole....

There are propper ways of doing this. First, if you want a link to YOUR website, you should go through the propper channels like all the other sites. You should email GlitterKill and ASK to be put on our AFFILIATES list. We will then have a link added with your site in our
AFFILIATES list. Then you shoul ASK GlitterKill if you can EMAIL us your reviews. If HE says yes, HE will GIVE you an email address to send your news submissions. IF THEY MEET OUR MINIMUM STANDARDS OF WHAT WE (any one of us NEWS PIMPS) CONSIDER A GOOD COMPLETE INFORMATIVE REVIEW (we all have different standards) ONE OF US WILL POST A LINK TO IT IN OUR WEB NEWS SECTION .

That's how it works chum. What you are doing here is both distastefull and shamefull on your part and reduced the credibility of not only you, but your website and staff associated with it as well.

Here are the answers to your questions and thank you for asklng them...

1. The CPU was an AMD 2400+
2. Stock, and the bus speed is 266
3. The temp were monitored by a Thermaltake Hardcano 2 dual Temp Monitor.
4.Those temps were Idol, we are still testing to see how it works with a very computer active 6 year old that loves Battlefield 1942 online.
5. Regarding the HSF, I search the review and did not find anything like that... If you read the last page of the review, you will see the temp was dropped by 39.92 degrees Fahrenheit .
