Question mixing coolant

Hi All
I just bought the Thermaltake aquarius 3 cooling system.
I am a little confused on the mixing ratio.
In the book it says 10 parts water 3 parts cooling.
So just for an example would that mean 10 t-spoons water
to 3 t-spoons of coolant solution?
Also they said I could use car anti-freeze with a ratio of 1:8.
Thanks for the help.

irregardless of the size of unit, the Ratio is 10:3 distilled water to coolant solution.
Therefor it could be cups. quarts, gallons, whatever, the rate is still the same.
That would also be considered a 30% solution.

Ok thankyou for the info.
By the sounds of it also I may want to stay away from the antifreeze.
The water wetter sounds like it may be good to mix with the distilled
water. Where is a reputable place to buy it on line?

There ya go... and while you are on that same page, check out the Zerex Racing Coolant. It is mixed 20:1. It does everything you need it to do and you use less.
There is NO substitution for distilled water. It has the best thermal properties, bar none. So the least amount of additives you use, the more efficient your coolant will be.
And as a bonus, it isn't "pink" and it doesn't have a foul smell like waterwetter http://dangerden.com/mall/Misc_Hardware/additives.asp

ZENN, 10:3 is 10 parts water and 3 parts coolant? If so your total 13 so it's not a 30% mixture, it's a 23%...

Anyhow brah, close enought I guess.

Alright, Alright...I heard you the first time!...lol you are absolutly correct. thirty per hundred. is like 3 per 10 and not the ratio 3 AND 10
At any rate/ratio pure H20, distilled and 10% additive will be fine
