| Well HawkEye is in the market for a new water block. I wanna put a lot of $$$ into a good one, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Here is one that caught my eye: Any other block that can be considered better? Where and how much?-is all I can say. | ||

| The TDX when it is officialy released. I was given one by my benevolent benefactor (CPU Killer), and put it in yesterday. After a day of using 2 instances of F@H stressing the cpu 100% on a P4 2.8c at 3.2 my load temp was 36c. Not bad. As far as the price goes, I don't know. | ||

| I think AntiM did a review of the PolarFLO, from what I've seen its part of the deadheat with the RBX and Whitewater, costs abit more though but looks FAR better. The RBX and Whitewater are both around $50 ATM, I'd guess thats where the TDX will be but who knows. As I'm sure you know the PolarFLO's are $80 for the anodized, $100 for Chrome and Bronze and $120 for Gold. If you need a block NOW and don't mind 3 barbs it should definatly be there on the top of your list but I'd wait for ZENN to publish his TDX review and see how the 2 barb wonder fits in... | ||

| Lokie's Personal WU-Hoe | Polarflo is the way I'm going to be going for an upgrade, mainly because of killer looks. The performance is solid on it also, which makes it all worth the cash IMO. If you're going to buy from Polarflo, go with a combo. Get the basic set at the least, this'll save you about $20 straight off. The platings also cost less when you buy a combo, and that'll shave another $10 total off if you would buy the CPU and VGA cooler alone. If you don't need the VGA cooler, somebody else does. | |

| mmm for looks, its unique - havent seen many blocks like that, mainly have acrlyic tops and are smaller. Im going with kage, get the set to save you some cash for things you may need later on. by the way, IMO is IN MY OPINION....isnt it? soz im a little rusty, and text messaging isnt my flavor. ![]() | ||

| Nothing wrong with the PolarFlo in the performance or looks department. I don't particularly like 3 barb blocks and definitely don't like plastic bolts. The latter can be easily fixed. It's up to you as to whether or not it's worth the money because you'll be paying for the way it looks. Not the way it performs. You can get as good or even slightly better performance much cheaper. The RBX and WW of course. The AquaGold block I have out performed the PolarFlo slightly and you can pick of one of those for a very cheap $30 right now. Antarctica is another top performer for 3/8" systems that's widely available and reasonably priced. | ||

| Direct Cool Hoe | High performance is what looks the best to me... form following function!
Slider... Ain't they saaaweet?...If you are using AS5 and cure it like the site recomends... You'll see some temps like 5-6c Delta, Are you finding that there smaller deltas at the lower ambient starting temps? Last edited by ZENNZZO; 02-May-04 at 07:07 PM..

I like mine. The mounting feels a little loose, though. And If I were doing it again today, I would wait for the TDX, just because the 3 barb design is a pain to work with in a tight case. If you require instant gratification, I think you'll be happy with it.
