If you use a GPU block like the M-4 and get a little heavy with the hold downs you will "rainbow" the card...from an excellent idea of CPUKillers' I built one and removed the rainbow from the card.

Very Nice looking backing bar!!!

(better looking than the one I have )

I recommend putting a little piece of neoprean foam (or something similar) between the PCB and the backing bar. this is to help protect the components under the backing bar. But not a requirement.....

BTW: nice looking (clean & crisp) pics ! Well spent money on that camera.

Wait, dont you have two inputs going to the videocard then? Cause if the tubes on the outside of the RBX are outputs, you in essence have two inputs, which could cause a slow flow through the videocard. I suppose since it is angled out on that y connector the tube on the left would be output for the video card. Never the less, it is very interesting.

I made mine to fit with a nylon spacer underneath so it doesn't touch any components on the board...

It all equalizes out...GPU is getting enough flow and pressure exerts equally on all sides...

Works fine for me, flow seems to be steady all the time, no back pressure or anything like that.

I think the prob with the setup is that the flow is less than if the two went into one on the vid card, not that that is a problem with your particular setup but you may be able to squeeze a few more degrees if you changed up. Only prob is it is not worth the hassle so I would suggest that the next time you break down your system that you try the other setup then compare. Just a suggesiton.

Red, I'm thinking you may be getting a sort of weak venturi effect from the "Y" you are running there where the GPU and the CPU lines are going into.

Not a problem. That was taken with a Fuji s3000, from about 12" away on auto/macro settings in medium to low light w/flash on auto. I try to use a tripod , whenever possible.
here is the link to the camera:http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...122-018&depa=7

I was thinking about using a three barb block and having one outlet got to GPU and one go to northy. Then bring both to the res (no "Y" adapter). If the two blocks were the same or similar, it would be a very nice arrangement.

I think that the triple barb block will be phased out anyhow, so kind of a moot point.

How much better were the numbers (Ag vs. Cu)?
What about the price difference?

I got a minimum of 3 deg. drop under full load @ 2.1 Vcore

The S-RBX was only a very limited run (like 15 blocks total) and those are all gone. They sold for $175 each (due to the limited quantities) the only way you can get one now is buy it off one of the 15 people that has one.
