| Im looking into water cooling, this being my first time i want a kit (80mm rad), I also only want to spend, shipped 150$-275$(max) Canadian. Doesnt have to be that good, anything that will outperform my Coolermaster Aero7lite is fine, its mostly just to get my hands wet ![]() I only want to cool my CPU.. Specs are: 2400+@2300MHz Idle 45 to 55 (depending on room temp) Abit NF7-S Lanboycase | ||

| Swiftech, thats all you need to know. Their blocks are pretty damn good and the kit has a 80mm rad with the infamous MCP-600 pump http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-wat-26.html I don't know Canadian sites though, Putwig ought have something | ||

| One quick comment. The kit Arkangyl just linked you to DOES NOT INCLUDE WATERBLOCK. Here's the same setup with a Socket A waterblock: http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-wat-21.html The same specs, but its $40 more (adds up to some 290 CAD + shipping). | ||

| What about this? http://www.frozencpu.com/cgi-bin/fro...ex-wat-01.html The RBX is a good block right, i guess i could go to 300$ its not that i dont have the money, its that I need to put more of it into the "car" fund ![]() Last edited by TYCOON; 27-April-04 at 01:00 AM.. | ||

I have a lanboy case from Antec and a 120mm fan and Radiator will sandwich nicely on the back of that case. I would go Blackice xtreme, bay res, RBX. hose and hardware and the new 12vt dangerden pump for about 225.usd. Last edited by ZENNZZO; 27-April-04 at 01:51 AM..

How many systems have you purchased, BTW? 1st off...he lists the CPU only as what he wants to cool... I just finished pricing the above mentioned system... No Problem 225.00usd. You gotta know how and where to buy. I've done this a time or two, I think I know what I'm doing... ![]() Last edited by ZENNZZO; 27-April-04 at 01:52 AM..

| Both DD and Swiftech are good kits. I think you will get more performance for your money from the DD gear. Actually I think you will get more performance at a cheaper price with the DD gear if you shop right. Either way, you don't need a complete kit, you'll be paying for some extras that you don't really need. Unless the kit is a killer price, I would at least carefully price out what you need as apposed to what the kit offers and see how they both come out. Extras can add up, but unnecessary extras do too | ||
