| well i got my new hsf, and just thoguth id say, i have a 2500+ clocked at 2224(3200+) and i idle at 24 and load at 32-36 :}. it looks nice, very nice. i use 2 fans bout same way so i have thru and thru air flow. it is an unbeliveable bitch to put it, took 2 hours. i sent my p;iars into the wall...twice....it makes takeing yr mobo out for a hole mount feel a **** load easyer... its no as heavy as it seems, i put it on an old mobo and shook the mobo vigerusly(people said it can rip socket off) and it never even started to tear off. i ordered a 2nd fan for it, and it didnt have the screws to mount it to the hs, just normal huge screws, so i had to boar the holes out, and use the screws for the p4 mount....of course i made the holes to big, so its got a but of glue on ther just in case :\ wile puting it in it gets a 2/10 once its in, i give it an 8.5/10 | ||

What kind of TIM are you using?

So your saying that the ambient temp in your house is lower then 75F? cause that 24c is equiv to that and hrmmmm air cooling at ambient now that makes me curious.....Tell me your not using the onboard sensors for these numbers....I mean no offense but air cooling at ambient is usually very noisy...hrmmm theres more to this mystery then we can see... but highly unlikely without that case flying of the desk.... My two cents Digi Hell he's making my water cooled setup look sadly out performed...unless of course those numbers come from bios and motherboard monitor hahahaha Oh and one more thing...why did you need pliars to remove the motherboard? usually a phillips screwdriver will do...and if your fastening the securing nut to a HSF or a block on the back of the MOBO best not to use pliars...they tend to rip a few critical traces on the board...I usually use a nice open socket with some tape on the board...but some people gotta learn the hardway I guess.....Pliars are for pulling jumpers and cutting wire...thats it.... well all you have managed to do is confuse us more...try taking the reading when the room is at 74F instead of 50...... give us some REAL numbers thanks

Word up bro...Ambient to CPU temp air cooling @ zero delta...woohooo! where do I sign up? For me to reach a 24C CPU temp figururing on a 10Cdelta over anbient I need 14C ambient or 57.2F and the only way that is gonna happen is to hang my Rad out the window, and put on a Parka...Now keep in mind that this Newly aquired term he used I.E. TIM. is truly articsilver5, and if he might have check their site and read up...he would know it takes 50-200hrs to cure to it's maximum thermal effiency...which inturn means, when cured he would have found the air cooler that is rivialling the prototype block I am currently using...Dammit to hell, I sure did blow it DiGi, and I see you did as well, Well I gotta call bullsh!t cause we both can't be wrong...
