Default Vortec tubes

Has anyone here seen, heard of experiences with, or used one of these:

http://www.vortec.com/cold_air_tubes.php

Supposed to be able to reach temps of -21F with just filtered compressed air.
Seems like somewhat affordable extreme cooling at $225.

Wouldn't this cause condensation? Compressed air usually blows out some moisture.

You would have to run an air compressor of some sort which would be pretty annoying but funny.

Yes, but that's why you filter your lines to remove moisture.

No it won't. If you read further into the specs is says it needs to run of filtered air which basically means that there is a condensation trap in the airline at some point before the application. Not to be used with an everyday compressor.

The air that was compressed initially would have to be filtered then filtered again after it was being delivered.
I'm sure the amount or volume it would take to do any kind of computer cooling would be akin a small shop compressor and noisey as hell,
I'm also sure the tiny hole the air leaves that appliance with. makes hella noise as well...225.00 for a glorified blower nozzle?
I'm sure that doesn't include the other end of the attached air hose you see in the pics or the 112.00 Auto-Drain Oil Removal Filter or the 59.00 Water/ Particulate (5 micron auto-drain)...Spendy at best...

Talking

Just returned to home country from smal trip to Wee Boni Scotland. - BOOOOORRRINNG place i tell thee.

Oo this compressed air sounds pretty good - has anyone found specs on these mini beasts? Im guessing a PSU isnt going to be enough - could be an air cooling version of a water pump with separate mains supply. They may also be a factor adding those heating elements that you usually see on the other side of pelter cooling blocks to prevent condensation.

I too will try for specs, and a Decibel level would be most useful

Looking at the example setup that would fit very well, reversed on antec cases (cheiftech too?) on the supporting arm next to the PSU. Dont know about the large black block on the blind side- EMI possibility?
