Default water + peltier...should i?

ive been entertaining the idea of using a watercooled peltier system, but i have a few questions and requests(as usual). i got a chevette heater core, and i want to do an inline system, no reservoir.

anyways, ive seen some cooling solutions that include both the peltier and the waterblock attached to each other. is this solution better than seperate, and if so, what are the best models for an a64 3200?
if not, what are the best blocks and peltier models?

also, would the system get too hot if i cooled the cpu, nb, and gpu all with water and peltiers? that would be the ideal solution but idk if it would be worth it.

any info on peltiers is also appreciated. thanks in advance for the help.

For watter cooling I would say go with the RBX block the make for A64. As far as inline that would be Putwig's area of expertise. If you want a Peltier then look for one at www.frozencpu.com

In my opinion peltiers are not worth the expense and hassle. You have to be very careful to prep the mobo and anythiing else near the pelt against condensation. And to run TEC's effectively you need a seperate power supply that can deliver more than 12 volts. And you need to be prepared to throw a lot more electricity at it than you will get a return on, pelts are horribly innefficient.

The RBX will not work with a pelt. You need a block that you can attach a cold plate to. It's important that the pelt has sufficient pressure on both sides to work correctly. Swiftech is probably the biggest supplier of pre-assembled peltier based blocks. AquaJoe and DangerDen also make a block you can use a pelt with.

i thought about pelts for a while but decided if it wasnt worth it... even if you did pelts, you would be crazy to do one on NB, cpu, and vid card, that would take mad crazy power and ud have to do some major anti-condensation planning. i wouldnt reccomend it, just get an rbx
