Well I'm on air right now, but my previous setup wasn't portable at all because the rad was exterior....but after the case mod I'm doing now is done it'll be all interior, bolted down, and ready for LAN parties.

Does hand truck mean anything to you? It requires a roadie and midget to move...security reasons of course...

My lan rig is just as portable as any air cooled one. mid tower case with full blown H2O setup running on a dc pump, justs adds a few pounds, nothing to worry about (unless you only weigh 95 lbs soaking wet)

Funny. Real funny.

I was getting a gauge because I carry my rig to work every day.

Mine is all internal but weighs a ton. Wouldn't want to have to carry it very far.

Yeah I was wondering if water setups are good to move around or not. But if its setup right then there's no reason it should develop any prolems is there? Is it large heavy heatsinks that can cause damage to mobo's whilst in transit?

I had an external reservoir holding 3 gallons and an huge external radiator with a pair of 120's pushing and pulling that would sit in the window during winter. Portable? No.

The cube I did that NoSlak has now is the most portable water system I've had, but I damn sure wouldn't have wanted to lug it around anywhere.

I've always been a fan of monster cases and monster cooling.

You guys will laugh.

I wanted to get my hands on one of the Flex-ATX mobos for the longest so I could pimp out a teenie-weennie water cooled lan rig that sacrificed nothing at all.

Well I wound up with the whole Shuttle SB61G2 with a P4 inside, and other goodies.

Those who know me know that there is water in that case. But the cooling rig is entirely external. I have the most powerfull catagory of SFF Lan boxs and it's tied to my computer desk by 18" of silicon tubing LOL

Well if you check mine in my gallery its pretty mobile. I just need to finish it up before I take it to any LAN partys.
