| Motor Cyc -Hoe | well i have just found so good info for all the water cooling people here. if you go to your local auto parts store and ask for a transmission cooled od even a power steering cooler you can use thoes for your radiators in a water cooled rig... they are also much cheaper that buying the radiators online from the distributers. i foun a transmission cooler for $13.00 and it is the same radiator used buy many water cooler suppliers that sell fo $30.00 and up..... |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | You are correct about the radiators, I puchased my first as part of a kit. But it is a Maxxexpert, and then I have my small Infinipro that is a 1/4" all copper that uses 80mm fans. These are not modified from other sources but built for the job. Is there any real performance difference? It's like I have been saying, yes there is a difference, but it is relative to your thermal load and the rest of your system, your environment too. But the ones like you bought work real good for damn cheap Oh, if you havn't baught yet, or if you wanta go looking anyway. Check out the Motorcycle shops. Bikes have small radiators too

| Motor Cyc -Hoe | well i did check for motorcycle oil coolers, but they were overly expensive, especially for a hardly davidson cooler. and besides most oil coolers have a high density fin count witc requires more airflow to push through ware as a trans cooler is a little less of a fin count to allow more air to pass through. they are also condireded a drop radiator witch will amount to better water flow for cooling instead of the plate type that most oil coolers are. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Wish I knew, I dont even know what they are talking about. Like any water cooling systems is likely to be "High Pressure". It's not impossible, but what for? Marketing rules, fancy names, wrongful claims. Anyway, I posted a shot of that little one, but it is for a 1/4" system. That makes it perfect for a small pertable setup cooling an AMD CPU and GPU. But that's about it. Or it should handle anything else you throw at it on an Intel rig.
