Default custome water blocks

well i just ordered some copper bar stock. i will be attempting to make my own water block as soon as it comes in. i will keep you all posted with photos as soon as i get started with this endevor. i plan on designing the water block with a larger central core with fins to help cool the cpu better... if it turns out all right and i don't **** it up in the process it should be one hell of a good water block. the case i am useing is an antec case' i have just spent about three days cutting out a very unique window out of it and am modding the psu right now until i get the copper delivered. i found the radiator at my local auto parts store it was used as a transmission cooler for trucks only cost me $14.00 , i had a 120 mm fan laying around, i got a 120 gph pump from the local pet shop for $10.89, as well as tubing, 10ft for $4.99, and the copper cost me $32.00, altogether i have spent about $60.00 an some change, not to bad for a water rig i would say.

I am looking forward to seeing it.

One suggestion, and this was probably already obvious to you. But if your pump is a lower volume pump, then don't try and set up your water blocks for big volume like 1/2". Just stick to 1/4" or 3/8" hose barbs, tubing etc.

Good luck with it.
