| Apex Techie Wannabe | Im comparing these three models. Each one obviously has their advantages, but which one is going to be better for my setup? Primary goal: Low-Med CFM fans for Low Noise. Order will go DD-D4 pump > DD TDX > DD GT88 > RADIATOR > Pump. Any suggestions? | |

| What's number 3? The XtremeIII and GTS360 are very close in performance with low/medium speed fans.despite the slimmer size of the GTS. The Stealth (GTS) is the best bet for low speed/low noise fans. That's exactly what it was designed for. A GTX360 however will outperform both by a sizable margin even at low speeds. It's hard to recommend a $125 radiator though. | ||

That's not true. It's EASY to recommend a $125 radiator. It's almost impossible to JUSTIFY a $125 radiator. ![]() Of course, the next question is how often do people like us stop to justify our purchases? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Apex Techie Wannabe | I was originally going to put the ProIII in there, but then realized that was just plain stupid ![]() I had NO idea about the GTX360! Its a steep price, but figuring in that I want true stealth operation, it MIGHT be worth the cost. I was afraid I would need higher CFM fans (which, in turn, more dB) to make decent cooling, but this MIGHT be my answer. Are there any reviews on this, or comparison tests? Thanx guys! | |

| The GTS and the GTX are both Gen 2 designs and share many of the same design traits. Both work better with lower speed fans than the previous generation of pro's and xtreme's. The GTX is the top dog in both low and high speed cooling. It's got the capacity of the xtreme's and the technology boost of the Stealth's. The proIII will handle most anything you could throw at it. The GTS will handle it with less air flow. The GTX will handle it and run at a lower temperature with less air flow. But as with anything in watercooling, you hit a point of diminishing returns where you can spend a great deal more money, for smaller and smaller improvements. But hey, if you got the cash. | ||
