Default Thermochill fittings...

As some of you know I've had trouble with a lost package containing a Thermochill PA 120.2 rad that my friend was sending me, complete with res and all fittings.

I've finally given up on waiting and am just going to order another one. Thing is, before I do so, I need to find out what fittings I need. Now everything else I have is 1/2", so I'll need 1/2" for the rad too, but the thread on all Thermochills, according to every site I check, is 3/8", so I'll need 3/8" - 1/2" which is almost impossible to find on an English site.

HOWEVER! I did find this..

Thermochill rad threading HELP!! - techPowerUp! Forums

Is this true? Is the thread on all Thermochills actually 1/2"? Will I be good if I get 1/2" -1/2" fittings with the Thermochill PA 120.2 or did he get the wrong barbs from the shop?

If so, where on earth can I get 3/8" - 1/2" barbs on an English site?

Thanks ahead.

The barbs have two measurments, tubing fitting size, and thread size.

The ThermoChill Thread size is 3/8 BSP, that is the threads on the side you screw into the rad.

The fitting size is for your tubing, the other components you have are 1/2, you need a 1/2 fitting, with 3/8 BSP threads.

Cheers mate, but that's an Australian site I do believe.

Thanks anyway, I think I've found one elsewhere though. It's just not in stock at either of the two sites I found.
