Hi everyone this is my first post but i'm no stranger to this forum. The ketchup and listerine tricks are just too awesome and worked like a charm. Well its been a while and I'm replacing all of my hoses on my rig (been almost 3 years) and switching over to using primochill ICE. Now my question is that I have been using Deionized distilled H20 with a capfull of xerex added to it. I am using a typhoon quad resevoir which is acrillyic and i've heard that ethylene glycol is bad for it, Is this true or just good marketing? I really like my typhoon alot and i'm really dissappointed i can't seem to find it anymore so if i don't have to replace that'd really make my day. I've been running this setup for almost 3 years like I said but i dunno if i should replace this resevoir. If I absolutely have to i'm going to get one of the thermaltakes but other than that anyone have any suggestions at all? this cooling setup was made by voyeurmods back in the day and they never said anything about ethylene glycol that I can think of. I use the same reservoir except my mixture has more Xerex in it (1:3 ratio) and I have never had any problems at all after 2+ years.
