Default how do you

if you run a peilter like a 155 watt junction how do you get a second power supply to turn on with the rest of your comp then turn off? what do you think is the best way to power a peltier from a different power source? and its water block-peltier-cold plate-cpu right? would a peltier on a xp 2200 oc'd to 2ghz have a condensation problem? or is peltier too much extra work and just the water cooling best?

You can turn on most power supplies by shorting the black and green connectors near the center of the mobo connector. You could run wires from those connectors through a switch located somewhere on your comp. Or you could run them to a solid state relay switch powered by your primary PSU. When the comp is turned on...it supplies power to the relay...and the relay switches on power to the second PSU.

I don't know if condensation would be a big problem. But a little dialectric grease on the processor pins and some neoprene foam around the processor and hoses wouldn't cost too terribly much for the peace of mind.

I jumped my PSU's together to run a pelt, but one ended up blowing after about a month. No idea why. After that I got myself a good Antec AT PSU and mounted the switch in the back. Worked like a charm.
