Default Cooler Masters Aquagate Help

I'm wondering if Cooler Masters water cooling is good. I saw this while surfing today and it might be a good start at water cooling. Give you ill probably be adding drain and fill ports, flow gauges and a resiviour. I'm looking for something to get my foot in the door. Is this it. Please let me know

I wouldn't recommend it honestly - these entry level systems rarely perform better than good air cooling.
The other downside is that the parts are all integrated (i.e. pump is part of the waterblock, the tube clamps aren't meant to be taken off) you'll find it hard upgrading parts (and waste a heap of cash throwing away the parts that you won't use - which will be pretty much everything )

you'd be better served saving your money and going for a better kit - at the (very) bottom of my list would be the Corsair Nautilus (as it has a decent pump, waterblock and radiator) - my personal pick would be the Swiftech H20-120 Premium kit though

Kick butt thanks i was thinking the intergrated parts where kinda bad. I'll look at grabbing the one you suggested. rep+ for helping me from making a stupid mistake. I didn't think you could get a decent water cooling setup for under $150.

I'm looking at building a pair of water cooled systems, one a 360 the other a quad core overclocked to 4Ghz if possible. So ya i new that thing wouldn't have worked for them (at least the overclocked). I'll grab that one you suggested and see how she dose.

well i ahve one for my core 2 (e6600) and it ok temp stayaround 80'ws and low 90's even on high... seems like it also adjust to the computer case temp warms up the liquid so it be close to the same.... i wish i got something better.... but i was on a budget...... thinking about getting a raditor and a pump next..... hopefully better

so from my ex[pereence if ur useing on core to or any duo proccessor and up i wouldnt for a p4 sure for celeron sure..

Thanks for mentioning that, I'm assuming overclocking a quad core is going to generate some wicked heat, even though I've heard you can air cool a quad core up to 3.5 GHz with no problem but I'm hoping to get to the 4 GHz mark so im going to be getting different watercooling setups to see what gets the best performance. I almost bought the swiftech one mentioned by master p but i was looking at it and I don't think its burly enough to handle a quad core running at 4 GHz. I may be wrong though I've been checking every guide I can find but all they tell you is what is the best set up they don't tell you the best hardware for the job, probably because its constantly changing.

Are you planning on adding other blocks to your loop at all?
If it's just the CPU on it's own, that kit will be OK (it was my bottom of the "decent list" pick)
A dual 120mm fan rad kit will allow for better cooling as well as headroom for a GPU block and northbridge

I was going to just water cool the cpu only. But if that kits at you bottom list whats at the top, I haven't water cooled anything yet. I pretty sure the one you suggested wouldn't be good for my 360 kit as it has a water block for the CPU and GPU and from my knoweldge the GPU would heat the water way to much. I was thinking about trying to figure a way to put a pelter in the system to help cool the water but im thinking thats beyond my current ability.

Im a bit late to this topic but I personally own a cooler master (I bought it when i was new to the whole liquid cooling thing) and I dont like it at all. Its actually very loud in my opinion, and thats even on its lowest setting. I can barely hear people talking to me when i put my headset on but i can clearly hear this thing on its low setting, let alone its high speed setting.

Im running about 36.1C right now just sitting here posting this after about a year and a half of use on the liquid that came with it. I actually have a bottle PC ICE sitting right beside me that im about to put in it. I dont have a ton of time to get on this forum anymore, the reason I was on here was i was just looking for anything good to flush my system out with before I put it in, apparently Distilled Water like I thought.

I have one of their All-in-Ones that seemed to have disapeared off the face of earth...its the one thats pictured for their "All-in-Ones"

Its overall OK but I dont think Cooler Master is exactly Master of the Liquid Cooling realm.
