You'd be better off with a good quality air cooler. A Thermalright Ultra 120, Noctua 120 and half a dozen other coolers I can think of off the top of my head will outperform the Kingwin.

Water Kits like that are normally pretty weak. As AntiM said, a ThermalRight Ultra 120 would be sweet.

I've been pushing this, though I've yet to get one myself.

A better radiator, pump and waterblock ought to do it...

New coolant won't help you here I'm afraid. That kit only has an 80mm radiator from what I can see.
It's a suitable replacement for an average air cooler, nothing more. If you want to OC, you'll find that this won't offer much advantage I'm afraid.

If I understand you (I require punctuation in order to read properly)

If you are going to remove the water block from the loop to swap it out, then yes - drain the coolant.

If you are going to just put some AS5 down, then no.
Leave the tubing attached to the block, un-clip it from the CPU mount, clean off the old thermal paste and put AS5 down.
Better thermal paste may only give you 1-2 degrees performance at most though...

You mean to tell me you bought that water cooling kit even though you were advised against it? Don't ask if you aren't going to listen.

Honestly.....you would have been better off with a quality air cooler. Kingwin water kits are known for problems, not to mention lack of performance. I speak from experiance, I tried one and modded the hell out of it to get perfomance acceptible and quiet.

Anyway, no you don't need to pull the coolant out to reaply the TC (Thermal Compound). Good luck......
