Sqeeling psu.

Hey, me and a friend are trying to get his WC setup working.

We're using a silverstone 850w, and this pump relay:

Expansion Slot AC Relay Switch (AC-RELAY-01) - FrozenCPU.com

We have the pump hooked up, we went to test it, we plugged in the psu while it was running (had green + black wires to start it) and the PSU sqeels.

Any idea?

Replace the PSU fan...sounds like the bearings are going out on it.

I've seen psu that weren't supported well squeal. See if you can push up on it and get the
squealing to stop. If that's not it I'd say the fan is bad and you need to RMA it.

I don't think it's a fan.

His 8800gtx does the same thing when it doesn't have the power plugs, plugged in.

So it might be some sort of power issue.
