| ok either my case is too small, or my radiator is too big. i have this case http://www.directron.com/201tblk.html and i have the black ice pro radiator, and there's no place to put it, and don't tell me i should have looked at the dimentions first!!!! so if any of you have any ideas, that would help. i'm thinking about mounting right on top, but would the weight of the radiator and fan be too much for the plexiglass? | ||

| oof, not sure where you can stick it, the front grille looks good, down low, you will have to cut a hole in the acryllic outter cover and then the sheet metal of the case...if they come apart, it can be done......be careful, measure twice, cut once.....wait for more advice but that lower frontal area looks to be the best bet. *edit* Or in the roof, just dont use the top 2 5.25 bays and cut up the roof! | ||

| Capt. How portable do you need to be? If you arn't planning on LAN gamming elsewhere try this. It's a Senfu Tech Station and you can get one at HighSpeedPC for $40. Mount the radiator, pump, and reservoir on it and only run the hoses and blocks into the case. Then you will have a completly external cooling unit. If you buy some of the right hardware at the local hardware store, you can even add hose barbs and valves and even quick-disconnects so that you can disconnect the two pretty easy and without too much spillage. Otherwise, you can mount it on the back of the case using stand-offs. | ||

| lol...ok i didn't spend $160 on the case so i could hack it up, or to buy a piece of steel.....looks are what i'm in for.......anyway i've already mounted it right down in the bottom front, i had to remove part of the HDD rack, but i only have one HD and no floppy so that's no biggy, it dropped my CPU temp about 5*C and now i'm ready for that 2ghz my 2200+ is ready to give me, and i find it easier if for lans i keep the thing in one box, and have nothing "routed around the back" besides, then i'd have to buy more tubing. | ||

| I'm glad you responded, I was about to point that out to him also but had a change of heart. Why the hell would you buy a case and not mod it??? He would have been much better off buying a $70 dollar case and use the extra money for cooling equipment, lights, etc... Maybe he just got confused on what site he was on. | ||
