| I guys, I have a problem with my LCD LG L1932TX-BF display. Yesterday, i was playing a game on my computer for about one hour, i decided to turn it off but before i did so, the screen goes white. Then i shut down the computer but when it reboots, it was still white, so it stays white, seems like something is broken inside. The thing is, I never drop it or did a abusive usage. Its not my video card because i unplug it from the monitor, I tried a couple of things, like calling LG but it will take like 2 weeks before i can get a new one, is there a possible way to do repair it or should i wait? ![]() thanks in advance Alexthemaster | ||

| It is kind of weird because i had the same thing happen to me on one of my 20'' wide screen VeiwSonic LCD and it ended up the monitor burned out so making it useless, lucky for me the monitor was only 3 weeks old and i was glad i took out a warranty on it and brought it back to where i bought it and they replace it with no question asked. I am not saying that is what is wrong with yours but it sounds like the same problem i had having nothing but a blank white screen. If by any chance if you have a extra monitor dragging around or one you are not using or could borrow one and you know it works try hooking that one up and see if you get the same problem if not giving you a blank white screen and shows the desk top it is definitely the monitor it self burnt out. | ||

| From the info you provided in the thread. My honest opinion, the lcd controller board looks to be defective. There's a slim chance there's a loose connection to the board but, since you stated you took good care of it. By opening it, there's always the risk you could do more damage than the existing issue. I would keep it intact and wait for LG to replace the lcd. Then again, your warranty would probably be voided if you cracked it open to take a look inside. By all means, if you want to go ahead and see for yourself. Go for it, but remember its at your own risk. | ||
