Default Issue with AOC LCDTV

Got this monitor/tv combo as a x-mas gift. It's only about 7 months old, so it's still in warranty. Already called AOC and they told me to mail it in. Two problems with this, but I won't list those. To the point.

A couple weeks ago the buttons in the monitor when nutso. Every so often, and quite randomly, it'll decide it wants to switch over to TV and flip through channels. It's done this twice whilst gaming. Annoying at the least.

At any rete, I was wondering if there's anyone here with monitor repair skills that could possibly tell me how to fix this issue? I've opened up a couple CRT monitors before and wound up trashing both, and since this is my only monitor at the moment, I'm not willing to crack this sucker open and try to fix it "blind".

I'll be very thankful if anyone can help me with this, as it'll mean I won't have to deal with browsing or gaming when suddenly my monitor decides to go nutso again.

Default Update...

Well, I opened the sucker up a moment ago after seeing that there had been so many views and no responses - which lead me to believe I was essentially on my own with this issue.

Turns out it's no where -near- as cluttered as a CRT monitor, which made it easy to tinker with. Though I refrained from completely disassembling it as I honestly don't have a great understanding of monitors. Basically all I did was unplug some wires and plug them back in, along with removing the wobbly stand I had it on, though my desk wobbles as I type; I plan on fixing further wobble issues by mounting my monitor on my wall. I'll put that project in the appropriate area if anyone's interested. (And yes, I will have to make some modifications for that to work, though it'll only be to the base...)
