Nice find Thrasher2, the only thing i hate Thu is them darn rebates, but i did find out if anyone was to buy something that has a rebate i would use paypal to pay for the item, the reason i say this if you use a credit card to pay for a item it takes a lot longer to get your rebate back up to 6 to sometime 8 weeks if not longer, so i found out if you have a paypal account and paid with that it only took about 2 weeks to get your rebate back for that i know, so i thought i just point this out to anyone wanting to purchase something that has a rebate i would pay it with paypal.

some rebates are like that, specifically tigerdirects system thru rebates.com but most all rebates are ways to get money ff people, and take you gosh darn time giving what they want back

I'll do rebates anyday. Just as long as they get back to me. The one thing that I hate about Tigerdirect is there shipping. Did you see it? 29.19 on it for ground!

There is a lot of online retailers that have crazy prices on there shipping charges and handling fees look at ebay that has to be one of the craziest places i ever seen for what there sellers shipping cost are.

I dont mind rebates... sometimes it takes a lil while but I usually get them when I really could use them... so it works out...

I ordered a LCD last night which was a Fujiplus.... 19" Wide screen w00t!!! It was $259 with a $65 rebate... I got it because of the rebate and it was the better looking of the ones I was looking at... Plus it has a great contrast ratio and responce time... oh... and it came from NewEgg with Free Shipping.. so I cant complain...

Good find Thrasher.. I would have probably bought this one had I not been set on a widescreen...

I couldn't agree with you more i was just stating that some times rebates are just a real pain in the butt and it takes forever to get them if you even get them, i had at one time bought a Verizon air card for my laptop that was $300 bucks with a $200 mail in rebate, i mailed the rebate in and 7 months went by still no rebate so i went to my local Verizon dealer and ask them what was going on with my rebate and they said they where not sure, when i filled out the rebate and they gave me a tracking number to find out the status of my rebate, so i said i have the tracking on it so they said could they have it to see what was going on and of course they could not find out what was wrong, so instead of them making me wait any longer since now it has been over 9 months they gave me the aircard for free and credit towards my Verizon account for $300, that is why i am so careful on something that has a rebate on it for now on, i am in no way telling people not to buy anything with a rebate i am just stating what kind of BS it can be to get a rebate back.

Yeah it can be a PITA but sometimes its just worth it.... I belive there are laws about rebates that were recently introduced to help protect buyers... I could be wrong but they were pretty strict from what I remember... I don't mind waiting so long as I get it... Took Cingular a while to send me my $50 rebate on my phone but they eventually did.. only thing I didnt like is it was a bloody Rebate Visa card... but oh well.. It spends like any other... just once you get down to a few bucks and change you have to go through the hassle of paying part of something with whats left on the card and then the rest with another card/cash/check....

Hate to be the one to tell you this, but you should have read the reviews on that LCD, appearently FujiPlus is VERY VERY SLOW...by which I mean that appearently no one has recieved a rebate since they started offering that LCD...I'd go for the CMV or a Rosewill, both low cost and quick(ish) rebates...

whew... when you said Slow I thought you were going to say the responce time.. haha... I read the reviews on PCA... but... I will just hope that it does not take to long.. like I said I dont really mind waiting on the rebate.. and I will hound the hell out of them if it gets to rediculously long of a time.... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...(Although, I wouldn't trust Newegg reviews on most accounts, but for this it seems to be rather unanimous...)

I know this isn't one of them, its standard ratio, but whos been churning out these 8ms 19" 1440x900 widescreen panels? Theres like a dozen under various brands on newegg around $200... Goddamn, i payed $1100 2 years ago for my 20".

Twizted, which Fuji-Plus monitor did you order?
I currently have this Fuji-Plus monitor (which I think is the one you ordered) since September and I love it. I got it for around $200 and it works as expected.

Ok to address the issue with Fuji-Plus and their rebates - well, yeah it is pretty bad. Someone in the C|Net forums posted a thread a while ago about how Fuji-Plus sucks with their rebates and I agreed. I had to call them regularly, but finally alas I got my rebate. Believe me, you won't be dissapointed with the LCD.

Either way... To many say its good and no ghosting compaired to one.... maybe he had other issues... or does not know what ghosting is.. who knows.... But... I will see how it works out.. If I have any trouble right off I will be on the Egg...
