T2, G5 is no longer showing the rebate as applicable...but that G7 is mighty tempting..

edit: and i just noticed something that got me thinking..

Now I wonder if that rebate still works if you order it through Amazon...

When I ordered it, It did not mention TigerDirect (or I'd have passed). Ordered it along with my new G15 keyboard.

If this offer doesn't come back, keep an eye on newegg. They've got a $50 rebate on the G15 and the G7 when bought prior to March 31.
NewEgg's prices:
G15 $69.95 (currentlyOOS until 3/31)
G7 $69.98 - $10 instant savings = $59.95
Total: $128.90
Less MIR: -$50.00

The answers to the big question is "No."

I called Amazon up, (or rather, got them to call me...) and the rep I spoke to said that the rebate is only good when sold directly from Amazon, but they are currently out of stock so they are being sold via TigerDirect.

As soon as they come back in stock (god I hope before 20th), the rebate will be good.

Oh that's just BS... I guess Amazon will have a mouse in stock here in a couple days when mine gets shipped back to them

EDIT: Just talked to amazon, (do you know how f'ing difficult it is to find their CS number?! Until you google it, that is). Anyway, fortunately I snagged mine before amazon.com ran out of stock, so I should be good to go. I'ma give Logitech a call in the morn, however, just to double check.

I had ordered a G& and G15 from Amazon, but it turns out that eCost has the G15 for dramatically less so I cancelled the G15 from Amazon and ordered it through eCost, nic ethat Amazon's rebat is freindlier than NewEggs, that's rather peculiar that it's set up that way.

ugh, i think my G5 is already glitchin up, the mouse wheel is extremely sensative, cause i find myself switching weapons in cs when i dont want to, or not switching when i want to, no fun
