I got a year of web hosting for $9.24! I don't think I got a free domain though because I transferred my old one over instead.

I haven't really had a chance to use it yet. I got this web hosting to handle the heavy traffic I'm getting from Digg.com. So far I do know the control panel sucks, but that's an acceptable trade off.

EDIT- Also check reviews on the Internet for these guys. I haven't heard the best things, but for $9.24, you can't go wrong.

For the past year I have had dreamhost webhosting and IMO its great stuff guys, especially for the price. I signed up for it last year and after I did they implemented this thing where your bandwidth and webspace increased MONTHLY. At this time my B/w is at 1099GB and my webspace is 22340.00 MB. If you've got the ten bucks, SIGN UP.

I dont know... I would like to know that myself. After a quick google search, I keep on finding mixed reviews...

as good as that sounds, im using bluehost for now and at 7 bucks a month i get 14 gigs storage and 400 gigs transfer. and a A+ rated tech support staff that actually listens when i explain the issue in technical terms.

good company and the longer you stay, the more free upgrades to your plan you get.

ours went from 100 transfer and 4 gigs storage to what it is now for free just cause all the new customers got it.

What is the uptime like?
it says 99%... but... whats your opinion?

bluehost? i have been down for 15 minutes in well over a year. i generally get tech support emails telling me what they have headed off etc from other customers on the server, and my groups dont even know there was an issue.

very good company for price.
