EnkoData? hmm interesting. anyways, the prices are just going to keep dropping probably since they realized that no one's ever going to buy it for full price since they have sales so often. also since the 2405FPW came out, I'm sure they dropped their prices a bit (why anyone would buy that when they could just get two 2005FPWs and run dual confounds me. its cheaper and its more screen space.)

i really gotta get back into scanning the deals sites and posting here. Been awhile since I've kept to it. now if i'm on my home computer, i'm always playing CoH though . ..

Anyone know how games display on one of those big wide screen monitors? Is it kind like a vertical letterbox?

It depends on the game, a lot strech (which isn't so bad, since theyre actually only 16:10, not 16:9) and a lot of games support widescreen resolutions. I've actually never run into a game that did black bars on the side.

Two of my friends have widescreen monitors for gaming. They have found sites that tell them how to make most games display widescreen without distortion.

The screens look awesome for gameplay, plus they can see a few extra degrees in CS

CoH runs fine but the 16:10 res is an option in the game. same with HL2. I know warcraft 3 was a problem since the bottom section where the action buttons, map, and targetted char took up a ton of space. haven't really tried any other games yet. i got my 6800 ultra and my 2005fpw at the same time so i could play half life 2. after i beat that, went back to xbox and gamecube games, then i got CoH so i've just been playing that.

heh, i haven't played the arcade games since i had a small duel over 2 or 3 of them with aaronrkelly. must of been back in october or something. my trophies are slowly disappearing though no one has taken one in about 1.5 months now. as long as no one takes the simpson one or the kill kenny one, then i'll be fine. those two took me a heck of a long time to get. rest took me about an hour each except for jackpot where i just clicked it while watching tv . ..
