Just bought me a 6' USB extension cable for $3 shipped. Enter code "pricewatch" at checkout for free shipping. Other USB cables go for $2-4. Not sure if the coupon code works with everying on that site. Acortech has an 8.92 Reseller Rating.

Anyway, glad I could help! I was looking for an extension also -- Jameco.com had them for cheap, but shipping wasn't.
