Surplus Computer has black or silver memory heat spreaders for $3.99 shipped. They have a whole $5-and-under section of their website, and I believe the whole section includes free shipping. Some of the items seem like a good deal (Precision Screwdriver set $2.99, Nero 6 $2.99), while others I wouldn't trade a copy of Microsoft Bob for.

By the way, Surplus has an 8.72 Reseller Rating.

I don't think the cheap heatspreaders work too well. I have some, and the thermaltape on them are extremely thick, I'm sure that isn't good heat dissipation. I'm even thinking of pulling them off, but they sure do look cool.

Nice price though. I'm a bestbyte fan as well btw.

Never been a big fan of thermal pads myself. I got a small heatsink for my Southbridge that came with a pad, but I'm not installing it until I can get some AS adhesive (after removing the pad, of course).
