Maybe not the fatest thing in the world, and not for the M$/Apple fanboy but for 150$ you can't beat this thing.

I'm waiting for the Asus EEE at $200, honestly. Flash-based so I can use it as a football!

I thought so, too, but the Eee is looking less and less deirable to me as release-date comes closer. They aren't releasing the $199 model in the US and the "hardware" is now non-replaceable, per some research I did, starting here. Sigh.

I didn't want to replace the hardware... I just wanted something intermediate between an ATX full-tower and twin LCDs, and a Blackberry.

But the 259 price point is a knock-down. I could get a Wii for that kind of money. :/

I wish I knew about this 2 years ago...

I went and got a HP pavilion dv6000, its dual core but for $150 I would have gotten that.

Yea its being hit down by some tuff to challenge crowds, but et yet the website is up, and the company behind it had it press confrence.
