FAO UK Modders - Maplin Clearance Sale

Maplin have a long list of "clearance" items at the moment - no direct links unfortunately, but the list includes EL cables, underwater lights (you never know), 60-80mm fan adaptors, USB floppy drives, USB adaptors, LED light tubes, HD coolers, fan speed controllers, Crystal Orb fans, & spring case handles.

Given Maplin's schizoid approach to pricing though, you'd be well advised to check you can't get it cheaper elsewhere before ordering.

A few things there that are allright but not that much on sale..
I take it you are from uk as well?

Borris_UK has been posting recently; as was dark magic ninja ... but he doesn't seemed to have grasped the concept that international borders mean FA to the internet, cerberus also appeared recently ...
Not sure if there's anyone else ... there did used to be more.

I'm on the southeast edge of Cambridge ... which might as well be the arse end of space as far as services like post, newspaper delivery, broadband, & decent water pressure are concerned

Oh cool so there are a few Uk ppl. not that many regulars though by the looks of it.
I guess being out of range for broadband sucks a lot.
We get ripped probably anyway when comparing what we pay to what the americans pay for there broadband.
And dial up is just as expensive as broadband now.
Have you tried Ntl for broadband? i couldn't get asdl as i live too far away from the exchange.

NTL ?

They had a deliberate policy 'round here of installing cable in the council estates first ... for everyone else, if they don't think they'll get enough subscribers in an area they just don't install there.

We get ripped off on everything ... compare the cost of hardware on US sites with UK sites: $1 = Ã‚Â£1
