Well gang, as of about Friday, I'll be on the road. I'll be leavin' ya'll for a bit, but I'm hoping to be back soon.

Those nice folks in the white clothes finally let me out of that tight jacket, and said "We're overcrowded"...

Which translated out, means "I'm CURED!"

Anyway, I'll be up as soon as possible. The future should be fairly interesting, I've been gathering all kinds of ideas for my return, so plan for a new balance of humor, how-tos and just all-around warped stuff.

Anyway... let me leave you with a "Top Ten" article, and then I gotta get my arse back to packing.


TOP TEN SIGNS YOU NEED A LAPTOP:

1. The weight of carrying around your monitor, case and 400 miles of extension cord is messing up your back.

2. You become "Needy" if away from your PC for more than an hour.

3. Your car battery is the size of an RVs because you plug your system into your cigarette lighter.

4. On the plane, you find yourself coding binary by arranging donuts and plastic knives.

5. Your hotel room only get local channels...

6. When you set up your computer desk, your apartment becomes a hallway you sleep in.

7. When you travel, your trunk is so full of computer equipment, you can't fit your clothes!

8. You carry a nylon briefcase, and you're sick of people asking what kind of laptop you have!

9. You don't leave the house without a PDA, Cell-Phone, Pager, MP3 player, Personal GPS and USB keychain anyway...

10. You're tired of trying to hunt down a vacant computer to troubleshoot networks...
