My "date" with Marie was awesome, unless you count that she doesn't want to "date", she wants to use me for affection. No commitment, but she does come watch movies and attach herself to me at shoulder, hip, and knee...

But, hey, negotiations are in the works with a good-looking ex...

So, I get a knock on the door, and there's a good friend there, asking for my partner in crime, as his computer isn't working...

There's smoke rising from this thing, and upon disassembly, it's burned the processor right up, to the point of leaving marks on the heatsink...

Long story short, we're building a kick@ss rig for him... Dervish will fill in details...

You know, maybe the deal with Marie isn't so bad... she is at least affectionate... It could be worse...

It's really freaking bad when you have to buy your own freaking birthday cake. It ended up being a breakfast bar with frosting cause I spent 250 on parts this week... I threw my own birthday party too. I was the only one that really even knew when it was besides you guys here. Did watch some great anime, and I prank called an ex...

I really dislike birthdays, it was my day, but I had to put up with drunk people, not-quite-dates, loneliness, playing guitar till my fingers broke open (rather difficult on a nylon-string), drunkenness (again) and winning the bet that I couldn't get a real date even on my birthday... but that's 40 bucks in my pocket... win-win situation...

And hopefully you will go through many, many more sucky birthdays. I'm at the point where they are an afterthought. I don't mind them, just don't feel like shortening my life while celebrating them.

My last happy birthday was my 7th, on my 8th I got a depressed skull fracture from smacking my head on a curb after falling off my new bike. My parents thought I was faking it & didn't take me to hospital until the next day
