Well folks, as BA and Foe leave, Rob and AntiM step up to replace them... I find myself looking back at my time at PR/PCA especially my time as staff and think of all those that've come and gone from the ranks during my tenture and those before me even. Folks - if you ever become staff and survive... I'm here to assure you there is no rhyme or reason why. After several readings, I'm quite suprised to find myself half way sound, and still modding.

12 still have more time in service than me, 10 are junior to me, and 15 have gone their own way. Folks - I'm officially middle of the pack here! Little thing you may not know, I was one of the reluctant staff members, I actually accepted staff position rather cautiously. Finally after enough arm twisting they talked me into writing for the Daily Disturbance - why they thought y'all would want to hear my rantin' and raving is beyond me.. but well seems nuff of you read it. What a strange thing is it on "this side" of the fence.

You know I actually resigned, GK and BA rejected it. Like Rob said a few days ago all us DD Writers hit burn out, I'm glad they told me just to sit out for a while in the end. I don't know what I'd do without this place, if I'd have stumbled acrost any of the other computer sites I doubt I'd have stayed long. The site might be called PCApex, but it's always going to be PimpRig to me. I don't know, I really don't know this one simple thing - why. I just know I love it here, writing my little articles, and dreaming.

I have to chuckle though, I'm still the black sheep of staff. I never follow the rules to well, but I darn well don't go and give the site a black eye at lest. Even my real-life life-style is off the normal beaten path. If you want to see a sign of my character, look up NoSlak's wedding pictures. You'll note that I've got a pint of Johnny Walker Black Label and smokin' a fatty cigar. I also dragged him and his wife to La Femme and the MGM Grand on their wedding anniversary too.

Some folks say PR/PCA isn't the same, well they're right. But as long as some of us ol' skewl Pimps stick around, we won't lose our soul. Sure we don't let folks like Tekxoid, B-Boy, Digital-Devil and assorted others to run as far to lynch themselves anymore, but by god I still post like I've got a one foot long e-penis like any good internet pimp does. Hoorah Pimprig, Hoorah PCApex... Hoorah. I've outlived my adversaries, and stole their secrets, and my knowledge continues to grow.

im still a n00b compared to the senior members, i still remember some of the drama though. i rememeber some of the other great staff members that moved on, back to Duck and PW. Every day im a member here makes me feal more apart of pcA. i couldnt say the same for most other forums out there, here everyone has a voice and its heard.

but until then I'll just deal wiht the night shakes and horrible dreams i've been havin' ever sense I signed that contract. ( I swear it looked like it was written on human skin, an i dont think that cut in my hand will ever heal , where GK dipped the quill for me to sigh with )

He's way before my official time, and I infact asked Digital-World about him after seeing mention of that name. But after I asked him and a few others he kept seeming more and more familiar, then I came to realize how long I really lurked on this site before I joined.
