Just wondering....

Why is it that some marketing asshat decided to put pants on the Kool-Aid guy?

This is the way he is supposed to look:

So why in all the latest commercials is he sporting pants and even a shirt?

That's just plain wrong... and pointless. Why ruin an icon?

My guess is to make it more "kid friendly" rather than looking like a large, blood-filled boil running around breaking through walls...

You know what else is weird? Why would any kids want to drink some KoolAid after he went and broke through the wall? I mean with all that sheet rock, insulation, brick/mortar, and wood,; you would think some of it would fall into that gaping head of his, ya know?

That guys just reminds me of the Family Guy episode where Peters trying to defend himself in court and CoolAid dude just randomly bursts through the wall and says "Ohhh Yeeeahhh!"...
