Talking Whats that? oh yeah its dirt under the rug.....why can i see it still?

WOW, I feel great today. Its now 1:16 and starting my day, I had to take care of a lot of stuff this past week so now my sleep pattern is all a mess. Today I have it easy for my DD post, didn’t really have to ponder topics too long before I came up with this one. Its something that always makes me chuckle whenever I see it happen. Whether it be outside my front door, on TV or even on the internet. This is more commonly seen in children, though for only short amounts of time.

Alright enough of the guessing game, I'm here now to post a summery about my feelings towards a grudge… stewing over a minor disagreement, the retaliation in some form towards someone over “spilt milk”. Yes we all have been, are, and will be in that kind of thought process at some point, its human nature and that’s just fine. Like most any thing there is a defined line you just don’t cross when circumstances are relatively minor. Most children will whine and pout when they don’t get their way, but more often then not, the next day or even earlier its like it never happened…forgiven and forgotten. There are other children that will take the typical whine/pout to a new level and cross that line I stated earlier. WHAMM!! Child hits the parent/guardian in the leg or arm out of frustration, Child is disciplined (every parent has there own form of this, I got soap in the mouth for foul language, grounded for mischief, or belt on the rear end for being disrespectful) and most likely the next day the kid hasn’t forgot about it, but next week its history. There are tons of variants to this, and they all don’t involve the kid being in the wrong.

So, now this is where I start the chuckling. If a child is wise enough to know there really is no positive that can come from holding a grudge over petty stuff…..then why do grown adults hold them for so long? Mad at the dude that cut in line at the coffee shop....seen again a month later and for some odd reason he is still being disliked. That is probably more common one i see around here, its just funny to see grown people bicker for a few weeks over something so petty. I’ve always thought the longer someone lived the MORE they would learn...!?!?!?

Well I could probably sit down and think of more to say about this but there are so many variables, so I just wanted to address the little stuff, and believe it or not, its all the little things in life that count too.

Peace,
BB

What it is, is that parents are afriad of being called child abusers because they take an active role in deciplining their child. For example, hitting parent: belt or back hand, disrespect: usually the same. See after the child does it a set number of times, they get it that if i do THIS, the it will get THIS which really HURST like #$%! So, they become somewhat respectful because they don't want to get hit. But also, the parents so learn to give a little to get a little. This will help later in life when they are older as they may not tell you as much as what their plans are or where theor going.

Well, I give you an example. When I was sent to my room by my parents, I had toys, the tv, and many other things to pass the time that was punishment. It really wasn't punishment as i could find something to pass the time. See, now If i was sent to a corner of the room to sit, and llok at for a few hours, I would hate because their is nothing there to pass the time, not objects, no nothing but pure boredom. Descipline should be used, both passive and active, but should be controled and never out of anger.
