Well this is a very VERY late coming post, and I have a long list of excuses but I won't get into them. But I'd like to start off by apologizing to
CPU Killer/Rokk for the amount of time it's taken for this to be written and posted. But now that I'm settled in Alaska again, I have time to write this DD post again for the fifth time, and I'm sure I'll leave out many great descriptions that have faded from my memory.
DangerDen is known far and wide as a premiere manufacturer of a plethora of watercooling blocks, and seller of many great products for the overclocking community that like things cooled and wet. They're also a company of gamers, where everyone from the packers to the mill operators game and overclock. Talk to anyone in their operation, and you'll quickly realize they're all in the know.
DangerDen is nestled in the heart of all things Northwest, which on a personal level for me at lest, rocks since I'm a web-toed, rust-for-tan regional myself. Trees abound, the Pacific ocean not far at all, and the Columbia River is right next door too. It's also a pain in the butt to locate, so unless you have scheduled business there, don't bother - and if you do, expect to go to the wrong place at lest 5 times and ask directions twice. It's an unassuming as it comes, but once you walk into the door, you'll get a chub if your truly a geek. Copper copper everywhere, and dang if it isn't sweet.
Now I'm not going to talk to you about their products, that can all be found easily. If you're not familiar with their products... you're a newbie, and just follow the
L-I-N-K to quickly resolve the ignorance that fogs your mind. I want to talk to you about a company that actually cares about it's products, it's customers, and is very approachable. I've visited their operation, I've gamed with them (me, and two of their employee's and two stragglers pwnD Team DangerDen @ BF-2 at PDXLAN), and did shots with a few of them too. Folks, I've never met a group of people as large that I've like universally before, but out of all of them, there isn't a one I wouldn't rip out my own HW for at a LAN to help.
Any ways, PCApex.. my friends, my internet family; I'd like to encourage anyone sitting on the fence to go visit their website (
www.dangerden.com), look over their offerings, look at the reviews that abound, and think about diving into the watercooling group. There isn't a more stand up company I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, technology related or not. To DangerDen's Crew, all those I've met, y'all rock.
P.S.
CPU Killer, I'm goin' to pwn you at PDXLAN 8 this Fall.
