Okay... this is probably gonna come off as strange... I got a new job and I just pulled 11 hours on my feet runnin' around (I actually got sunlight... it was horrible). Anyway... I'm tired... So naturally my brain is wandering all over the place...

1. Why is it that people who play ghetto gangsta music with the hard-core lyrics about life in the slums... played by white-bread teenagers driving expensive cars?

2. A worm lives in the dirt... when a little worm plays in the water, does his mother tell him to come get dirty?

3. Why is it people have car alarms? They go off ALL the time, nobody even pays attention to 'em anymore... Basically... all it does is scream, "I'm annying! Ignore me, and maybe someone will steal me and drive me away... ya know... where you won't have to hear this crap anymore!"

4. Why is it that tea isn't spelled "T"... who the hell thought it needed to have 2 extra letters? Probably the same moron that thought "Phone" should be spelled with a "PH", and "Thought:" should have a "G"

5. Why is it easier to remember things about people instead of important fact... stuff like "She has a NICE ass" than her name?

6. Why does the mind play tricks on you when your tired? Is it the only time it feels it can get away with it?

7. Why didn't they play "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys at the end of "Tremors"?

8. I have an idea on how to end prejudism... make everyone clear... that way people will be too busy saying, "Sorry... didn't see you there" than fighting over stupid crap.

9. Why is it that they call blue jeans "Blue Jeans"... I mean... you don't put on "White Socks", "Black Shirt", "Tan Hat"... if you did, you'd sound like an idiot... but yet... we still call 'em "Blue Jeans".

10. Why is it everyone ignores you while you're trying to think of something you want to do... but while you're doing it... they won't leave you the hell alone?

The pathways of your mind are both frightning and exciting. Someday, I will be as warped as you. God help us all.

Why is it that People will drive 35 MPH in a 45 MPH Zone and then on the same road, will speed up to 45 as soon as they get to the 35 MPH Zone?

God job on getting the new job, and I think it is the alien implants that play tricks on you when your tired. When you are tired you are likely to believe anything, they are comming for us as an example.

That's another great mystery of our time Sk8 - why "dyslexia" is so hard to spell. I'm sure it's a conspiracy against us sufferers!

Peng... I try not to tailgate... but when people slow down in the fast lane, I view it as an act of hostility, and will pass on what-ever side is clear...

I think it's time for therapy... probably long overdue...

No offense flounder!

Some times the humor just degenerates.

We all appreciate the difficulties of learning disabilities, and I hope you have learned how to best cope with yours!

Sorry if we touched a nerve.

Agree, I normally do 10 over though and I've decided that the blue plates around here really do indicate driver's training vehicle (in Michigan, most plates are blue).
Ever been tailgated at 80? Just bugs me sometimes.

BTW, I was ranked a type "A" by your test the other week...

Peng... yeah, I've been tailgated at 80... I decided they wanted to race...

After I left 'em in the dust, I figured maybe they weren't as serious I had first though...

Add: I did get tailgated and PASSED by a guy... I had my damn pedal to the FLOOR and he still shot by me like I was standin' still... Little POS car... I was pissed... I got a V-8 under the hood... I should have blown the doors off that thing.

Then again... at 20 years old... I guess it's not a spring chicken anymore...

Learning disabilities suck...try having ADD with a side of minor dyslexia... The dyslexia isnt that bad but one time in Geometry class in high school, I gave a seven didget answer in reverse eventhough I had it the right way on my paper... The teacher corrected me and I told him that is what I said. Ther was 35 pairs on eye's on me that time. I've pretty much adapted to the ADD though I still find get cought looking at a women's breasts while trying to have a conversation with her

FeRaL, I don't think that has got anything to do with ADD - but if that excuse works, go for it !

Try having dyslexia _and_ dysphraxia - the qucks can't even make their mind up about what to call it - some say dysphraxia, some say dyspraxia ... potayto, potahto.

I'm not going to complain about my dyslexia (what would be the point?), it's never stopped me from doing anything - only other peoples attitudes towards it has done that.

As for my dysphraxia, I do find it frustrating not being able to do fine work - especially soldering, but it's not something I can do anything about.

(Some info on dysphraxiahere if anyone is interested)

I'm afflicted with ASS (Advanced Sloth Syndrome) but have learned to work with it also. My ASS has never gotten in my way, and I have managed to put it behind me. People with ASS know that it will follow them wherever they go, but many learn to use ASS to their advantage. Women seem exceptionally good at using ASS to get what they want out of life. As a matter of fact, I have heard women without ASS wish that they had ASS so they would have an advantage. Go figure.

Even though the problems with my ASS are resolved, I constantly think of the thousands of women out there with ASS who are just trying to survive day to day. I wish I could share my experience with ASS with each and every one of them. I hope to start a foundation aimed specifically at women with ASS and I hope to personally touch each and every one of them.

ASS has spread more recently, but not like it did in the 60's. As I have matured through life, I've noticed more and more ASS as I go about my daily business. Through my efforts, I hope to plug as much of the spreading ASS as I can.
