Default Top Ten: Type "A" signs!

Well gang... your ol' pal the Samurai has pulled all of the below... time to either sign up for nascar, or listen to new-age music while driving I guess...

TOP TEN SIGNS YOU HAVE A "TYPE A" DRIVING STYLE:

1. You'll do 70 miles an hour to pass someone who pissed you off... in a 25 MPH zone... especially if the dumb-ass thinks he may want to race YOU when you move to pass.

2. You've passed emergency vehicles... with their flashers on.

3.You've contemplated passing police officers who are already doing over the speed limit.

4. You thought the "Fast and the Furious" could have used more "Furious".

5. You get pissed off when people do ONLY the speed limit.

6. Pedestrians, Bicyclers and protest marches only serve to REALLY piss you off 'cause where-as you may or may not agree with their cause, or you know it's a healthy life choice... they can DO IT OFF THE DAMN ROAD!

7. You thought the "Dukes of Hazzard" were wussies.

8. When buying a new car.... you ask the salesman if it has good gas milage, what kind of warranty is available... oh yeah, and can it outrun the FBI.

9. You find GTA relaxing because you can drive however the hell you want to for a change!

10. You plan on teaching your offspring how to do J-turns, 180s and how to develop a "kill-switch" for their brake-lights...

What's wrong with all this, really. I swear Michigan Driver's Ed requires you meet these requirements before getting your license.

though i have to say the only one i haven't at least considered was passing an emergency vehicle (assuming you mean one that is on the road on the way to an emergency i've passed plenty that were on the side of the road with their lights on..... )

I'm guilty of every one of those other than 2. I HAVE passed a cop while they were above the speed limit, and have infact DRAFTED a cop car. "I love anything fast enough to do something stupid in"

Sound like me all the way. I love fast cars, faster computers, and blowing past people at 100+ MPH! This sounds crazy but im just 17 and I love racing but I hate NASCAR, I'm more of a Euro Course Style racer.

Well i guess if you guys are a type A driver, i would have to be somewhere down there in the Type Q or somthing

I always go at or below the speed limit
Always give pedestrians the right of way
And usually let other drivers pass me

my first car a '76 ford torino elite
65 mph shook like it was about to blow a part
73 mph smooth as a babys bottom
89 mph shook so hard the mirrors adjusted them selves
105 mph smoothed out like riding on a cushion of air
120+ i got scared and backed off to 75 for the rest of my 55 mile drive but i did complete it in 35 minutes or there about

speedo ended at 120

Got you all beat.... I Father drives UNDER THE DAMN SPEED LIMIT!!!!

Going down the expressway in a 70 mph zone at 62!!!

When I mention this to him, how he is disrupting the traffic all around him, his response? - real quote -

"It's the speed limit, that is the upper limit, that doesn't mean you have to drive that fast"

God I hate riding with him!

What's the 'A' stand for anyway 'Sam ? Arsehole ?

Not that I've never been naughty, as the table below might tell you:

Highest Speed: .......195 [bike]; .......... 215-225 [car]
Fastest Crash: ........ 95-100 [bike]; .....110-120 [car]
Fastest nicking: ..... 157.5 [bike]; ........ n/a [car]

I'd like to say I've slowed down as I've got older ... but I think that's mainly due to the hardware I've been driving/riding recently (a Ford POS & Honda maggot) .... now I've got a car with a bit more poke (a French turbodiesel, but it feels like a rocket after that Ford) I've started fracturing the odd law or two again ....
