Default Top Ten Reasons Being Mugged is STILL better than taxes

Yep... it's that time of year... It's time to send the "Good folks here to help you" a slice of your pie...

TOP TEN REASONS IT WOULD BE BETTER TO BE MUGGED, THAN HAVE TO FILE TAXES:

1. When you're mugged, they don't require you to sift through hours of paperwork, or make you hunt for receipts to PROVE they have taken you for "their exact share".

2. When you move, you're not required to send money to not only your old mugger, but the new one! Also... see one for more of that "Hours of paperwork"...

3. Muggers don't take a cut out of your paycheck... if they do, it's usually only once. They also don't work on a sliding scale.

4. If you get mugged, the police will imprison the person who did it... yet, the IRS takes you for up to half of what you earn, and if you don't pay it, YOU get imprisoned.

5. Muggers don't send the said paperwork in example 1 back and tell you to use a different form before they'll accept your money.

6. The Post Office has pictures of Muggers on the wall to be captured... and yet... still has a bin of tax forms every season.

7. When you're mugged, it's over in a few minutes... with the IRS, court battles and bickering with your accountant over an audit can last years.

8. When you get mugged, the criminal doesn't tell you they need you to send the money he DIDN'T steal to his "Big Brother" in another state.

9. Said Criminal also doesn't ask you to spare a couple bucks for his next "Campaign".

10. You don't need an accountant to mediate in between you and a mugger to justify you keeping money you probably don't even have.

*. Still...If you didn't make enough, at least with you'll get a refund with the IRD... which means they give you back a portion of what the swiped from you over the year...
