Sorry, I've been swamped at work lately.
For those of you who don't know much about the automotive industry, it generally takes about a year and a half for suppliers like the company I work for to finalize the parts and get them into production.
And these launches are timed to have product ready for the main companies to start their assembly lines and work out kinks in time to have enough cars in the system to launch their "NEW MODELS"
As if that isn't bad enough, the engineering group has been told to make every effort to assist the manufacturing facilities to have "flawless launches", so if there are any problems even remotely related to pack, they call me. Not that I can do anything about it, short of explain why they are boned.
This additional hand-holding is keeping me from working on the next model year programs we have, so I am falling further and further behind.
I'll see what I can do to post more content later on, posting quality topics every week is harder than it looks.
I'll stop being such a wuss, just needed to vent and tell you the dog ate my post.
On a completely different note: I came across a new magazine which I found incredible, and if you like the kind of humor I do, you may as well. Radar. Think of it as a cross between Us Magazine and Nat'l Lampoon. They also have a online site,
http://www.radaronline.com which I haven't been to yet, as the IT Nazis have blocked that site from work. They haven't paid me for this, and I have just sent in my subscription for the upcoming year, but I thought it was worth the tip to you folks.
Back to work.
