| It's time to ask yourself... "Am I a technophile"? Do I love technology so much I'd sell my kidney to get the smallest friggin' cell phone ever made? Do you lie awake dreaming of a PDA that will play Unreal Tournament 2003 over a wireless network with other people at the bus stop? TOP TEN SIGNS YOU'RE A TECHNOPHILE: 1. You never answer your phone... but that's okay, since you got your tele-zapper, and you've set your caller ID to block certain numbers... it never rings anyway. Besides, all your friends have your cell number, your pager and/or your E-mail address... if they don't leave a voice mail. 2. You never leave home without at least ONE peice of technology on you. 3. Your vehicle has CB, CD, TV, DVD, a scanner and you're thinking of adding a a palm-pilot cradle for the front seat.... So what if you have to charge your car's battery every night? 4. Your kids refer to your basement as "The Command Post"... or, if you're a Star Trek Family... "The Bridge". 5. You get at LEAST three publications every month describing new technological goodies. 6. When accused of being a yuppie, you get pissed off... and you'd argue with them, but you have to answer your Cell. 7. You actually bought one of those jackets that carries all your technical crap for the low, low price of a couple hundred bucks... even though you work as a dish-washer at "Dennys". 8. You've implanted a GPS unit in your car, your children, yourself and your wife (cheating bitch she is... you KNOW that blip on your GPS tracking unit is stopping at your best friend's house! You triangulated it!) 9. You don't HAVE to have the latest gadgets... oh wait... yes you do! 10. You think real life has really cool graphics, but you're still expecting Plasma screens to advance to a better visual experience! | ||

| you need a bigger alternator in your car and a better deep cycle battery. and about the publications in the mail my dad gets these free magazines every day like EE times, videosystems magazine, electronics design, and various other industry news letters. dose that count? look at a plasma tv. then look at a CRT, LCD, or DLP tv. which one has better image quality? | ||

| Ironically... I'm just a computer nerd. I dislike cell phones (when I'm in my car, I'm too busy watching the road... at the speeds I pull, I kinda have to), I'm not a big fan of PDAs (although they are getting better! I used one of the first ones out. There was no color, it ran one program, it had no operating system, and you had to type with a wand). No HotSync either... Still, I'd like to get one of those gadget-jackets, and I want a laptop, and probably a PDA so I can keep up with the rest of society... so I'm an aspiring technophile... As it is I leave the house without even a watch on me! | ||

| Dude... when you've got the needle buried... taking your eyes off the road for even a second can mean your ass is going to turn into a smear. The Speed Limit for most roads in Montana is 75 MPH... my speedo goes to 80, and I can push it WAY past that. Trust me... I PASS most speeders... Hell, I passed an ambulance with it's lights on... I do NOT screw around. | ||
