* Today I've tried to write an article and got half way through LEST 5 times but had to close out and restart because of work. So I'm sorry this is so late in the day, explaination will be found below.

Me - "... but Rob I'm on the inactive roster!"
Rob - "I don't care, get your @$$ out there or we're taking back the PR Staff Lounge Pass with the full bar and bikini clad barmaids!"
Me - "You're not scaring me!"
Rob - "We also took care of that bad window latch in the restroom you sneak through when you lost your pass..."
Me - "Okay! Consider me good to go!"

Well maybe it didn't play out like that, but until Solid Necro returns or further notice I'm taking over the SUNDAY slot (even though this is Monday for most of you). Hmm, I haven't done this in a while, feel like I'm starting anew all over again. I'll break the ice with a joke I picked up from Wordbiker!

Okay so this seal walks into a club. (It's a thinker)

.... Okay okay, I'll leave the jokes to IronSerif. Put the rotten produce away... you can't hit me anyways, I'm probably at lest 2,500 miles away. You try doin' this gig, it ain't exactly as easy as workin' an Easy-Bake oven at times. I've been gone to long, I've already forgotten all my tricks, but I've gotta come up with something. I know! I'll keep stalling til I have this post long enough where I close out quickly leaving you wonder "Did I just manage to become stupider for reading this?."

We'll as I've hinted I've been having a fun day, we're warming up for salmon season in which I work 80-100 hour weeks. It's a fun time, but right now I'm working 40 but doing it 2 hours at a time. I'll get called in for 2 hours to load a semi up and send him down the road, go home settle in and get called back for an hour to unload fish for the next day. I need Caller ID.

I'd like to share my big frustration though. Tourist-college student-workers, folks that come up to Alaska every year to work in a cannery because their Uncle Ed said they'd be able to make 6 grand easy during their summer vacation and get some fishing in too. I have never seen a more odd ball group of folks. Half are worthless as tits on a boar yet keep asking when they're going to get a raise, maybe 25% are good workers. The other 25% are ones that want every hour they can get, give us regulars grief with their "I worked 20 hours straight and working again 4 hours later!" mentality and then a month later start wanting days off and fall behind farther than those of us who warned them.

Well anyways, the point of this post was more of a heads up I'm back on the slots. I promise I'll do better next time. Have a good Monday folks.
