Well gang... I've been keepin' track of everything my PC can do... Lord knows it's been hard work to sit and listen to music, watch cartoons and hit the ocassional website to check into some stuff...

TOP 25 THINGS YOUR COMPUTER CAN REPLACE IN YOUR HOME:

1. Stereo (CD-Player/ Reciever)
2. TV
3. DVD Player
4. Typewriter
5. Video Game Systems
6. Pen and Paper
7. Copier (if you have a printer/ scanner)
8. Telephone
9. Certain magazines (you know who you are)
10. home theatre
11.Calender
12. Newspapers
13. Books
14. Radio
15. VCR (VIVO Video Cards)
16. Voice Recorder
17. Calculator
18. Friends/Family (heh, heh)
19. Heater (my rig keeps my room nice and toasty)
20. Slideshow Projector (PowerPoint)
21. Home Theatre
22. Fax Machine
23. File Cabinet
24. Your Car (if you don't mind shopping for EVERYTHING online and you work from home)
25. Security System (although you'll only see what your web-cam security feature caught AFTER the police get it back...

I replaced my life with my computer. Oh... and blankets too. It kicks off enough heat.

Well, there is a mod in the gallery that had a lotion dispenser and kleenex holder built into the top of the case....but that might fall into"Certain magazines (you know who you are)"

N00b... Hmmm... I have three options...

1. Get your address and silence you before others know...
2. Make a top ten list of excuses...

or 3, and the one I'm going to go with..

Or you could substitue one of the repeated items with video/movie making..as opposed to a mere player. ^_^

I can watch HDTV on either my Pentium 4(running Windows XP) or Pentium 3(running Redhat Linux 8.0).
The Pentium 4 displays the video very smoothly(my GF(just a MX) is fast enough).
The Pentium 3 displays the video poorly(video breaks up into sets of lines during fast movement and slight pauses every few seconds(the video card is a whimpy integrated 810)).
Analog TV DIE!

I can also save video to disk at HDTV resolution.
